A few months ago I received a half dozen Traditional Only shafts from www.3riversarchery.com. At first glance I was not that big of a fan, only because of the diameter of the arrows. I am used to my Easton Axis arrows and love them. However, I wanted to test out a new shaft only because the Easton axis shafts are indeed pricey.
The Traditional Only shafts are a great shaft overall. I found these shafts easy to tune, extremely durable, and affordable. To test the durability of the shaft, I shot one off a cinder block in my basement. The shaft took the impact like a champ and I continue to shoot it today. The one thing that I don’t like about the shafts, that I love with the Easton Axis, are there inserts. The Traditional Only shafts do not have HIT insert technology, they are a standard insert, which is not a huge concern. The other thing I love about these shafts is the photofusion wood grain appearance. It gives the shafts a great traditional feel.
For the money, I don’t think anyone could go wrong with these shafts from beginner to professional.
